Small Group Atelier Classes are offered
periodically at the studio for
serious art students of all abilities who want to learn to draw
and paint in
the traditional Old Master in an atelier
setting. The
Classical Realist style from life is emphasized. This
leaning experience is structured around the model
and methods of the Old Masters beginning with
drawing, cast drawing, basic oil-painting
techniques, and advanced oil-painting methods and
techniques. Students progress at their own
pace. Class enrolment is limited to
six students Max for a near one-on-one learning
experience.

Workshops & Clinics
Special Workshops and Clinics are offered
periodically at the Studio
( and on location for plein-air
landscape painting ) for students of all abilities who want to
improve their painting skills and to learn to paint in the
Classical-Traditional manner. Workshops are offered on a four
and five day schedule; Clinics are offered on a two day
schedule. A minimum enrolment of ten students is required.

The First Saturday each
month, Deborah offers a free oil painting
demonstration from life at the Studio. Demonstrations include portrait and still life
painting. These Free Demonstrations are open
to the public, but space is limited.

Open Studio
Offered Free Each Saturday ( personal schedule
permitting ) Deborah hosts an Open Studio Event for Artists
of all abilities to come together to draw, paint, or just
talk art. NO Formal Instruction is Provided! The
Open Studio Events are Free, however donations are accepted
to cover the costs of food and refreshments, or bring your
own complete bag lunch. Open Studio Hours are from
9:00 AM to 2:00 PM so that artist may come and go as they
wish. Space is limited inside; more outside weather
permitting. Your RSVP is appreciated, but not

- Individual Art
Instruction
Personal, Individual, Art Instruction
is available ( Deborah's personal
schedule permitting ) at the Studio by Special Request for
Advanced Students who desire a one-to-one learning experience. A
Review of your personal art portfolio is Required. Send
5 to 10 images on DVD of your best representational art works completed within
the last two years (Please; NO E-Mailed images! ),
along with your Complete Resume, your Artist Statement, and
your Letter of Request including a description of what you
expect to gain from your learning experience. If your
request is accepted, a personal interview
will be scheduled; upon final acceptance a mutually
agreeable schedule will be created for you. Special
Fees Apply. Send your Letter of Request, DVD, and

Work Critique
A Personal Consultation and Review of Your Artwork is available at the Studio upon request.
The review may include up to five of your best works of art.
Upon completing the review of your work, Deborah will
consult with you and offer her opinions and suggestions
that you will find of value to your growth as an artist if
you accept them. Call the Studio with your request
during normal business hours, or E-Mail your request to

for additional information, and to schedule your review and
